Heya,

This post is actually a tiny bit out of sequence, we have about 15 sessions to post that we have done before this session; however I am finishing the photos tonight and thought I would put them up. The kids were hilarious. Some kids are made to pose. The oldest boy loved to strike a pose, what a great phase to remember one day, ha ha. They were just simply amazing, and as we left the youngest boy said to Nathan, “I can hardly wait until our next family photo shoot”. Nathan asked why, and he said “because it was so much fun”. It is so funny, it makes me love my job when kids can have fun and have art made showing the beauty, love, and emotion of the family. Here are a couple images from some family sessions in October. They all have something in common, our 2009 bride and groom Katie and Pierre who you can see on Calgary wedding photography site, or their reviews at Calgary wedding photographer blog. This is a pregnant and Katie (in the summer) and Pierre’s new baby. After that, is their sister and brother Andre and Lily (plus) kids, and other brother and sister in-law (plus) kids. We did all three families last month. Yay! I love this family, and their wedding was one of my favorite of all time.

Here is Sophie, Marc, Lily and Andre. The photo with the window is just so them; the kids are hilarious and total characters.

Here is the next group, cutest shirts ever! I remember when Lisa was pregnant at Katie’s wedding, and now they have the sweetest most loving boys, Yay!

Ha ha ha, I love these two together, it so captures his age and character, goofy!

Here some good reasons to come down for our mini sessions this June,
1) you will probably want that family picture come christmas
2) you get the digital negatives included
3) the kids will have so much fun, they wont even know they are getting a family picture
4) those adult children grow so fast, and they are too busy for a full session
5) grandparents need pictures too
6) you and your boyfriend don’t have any good pictures of each other
7) you only want a couple great pregnancy pictures
we take awesome pictures;)

You get 20 minutes and 5-7 digital negatives for $225

Here is Haruna and her baby brother Kouta. Haruna is one of those little girls who everyone would love spending time with because she is such a character. Watching her become a big sister is such a treat!

Charlie Jet is the adorable son of Jared and Christina. Jared also has a band called J.R. Shore. This is really terrific music; we had the chance to do some band pictures for him too. I will post a couple below as soon as I dig them up from the archives. For now it is all baby.

Some of you may know we will be taking all of our family work off the current main site and leaving that for all our wedding work. This is because we seriously have too many shots to share, which is kind of crazy after only being full-time for the last couple years. Any hoo, this is Lindsey and Zack, with the littlest Nolan. I will always remember the honest and wonderful first email Lindsey sent to me; and I am so very happy to have the honour of working with this little family. Zack also told his buddy Trevor about us, and we are shooting their wedding this May…Yay! Thanks guys!

I met Ashlee, Sam and Holly when she was born, and now she has a beautiful little brother Brett. I love these guys with all my heart, they have been a huge support over the years. Ashlee has also started a not-for-profit everyone should know about. Check out madebymomma.org. It is a great cause and group of women supporting women. We are doing photos for the organization and are lucky and honoured to be their official photographer, providing free photos for their events and to help further their cause. We will be updating you about their events and will have a full page devoted to them right here on the blog soon.
